Hunting and gathering already . . .
Hi Dr. Jay!
Love all your ideas!
Am wondering what you eat for breakfast.
Somehow, bacon and eggs every day is not appealing!
Also, does cream have lactose? How about sour cream?
Is there a daily diet somewhere that we can follow?
Cheers
Mac

I love my breakfast. It pretty much involves eggs in one form or another. At the moment, I have been enjoying a frittata every morning. Here is the recipe:
12 omega-3 eggs
2/3 cup cream
8 strips bacon cooked and chopped
2/3 cup diced onion
2/3 cup chopped mushrooms (one can sliced mushrooms)
1 cup grated cheese
optional – 2 Tbsp chopped chipotle pepper
salt
pepper
mix eggs, cream, salt and pepper in a large bowl
fry onions and mushrooms in bacon fat or lard on medium/high heat
add bacon and chipotle pepper
add egg mixture and stir with spatula until mostly cooked
top with grated cheese and cover pan on low heat until fully cooked
put under broiler until cheese starts to turn brown
transfer to cutting board, let cool and cut into slices
Can be stored in a container in the fridge for up to a week and
microwaved for a quick breakfast.
I eat it with some green salsa and accompanied with some fresh tomato and Hellman’s mayo.
Those are two good reasons. 🙂
